Thursday, November 5, 2009 - A Brief Survey of Medieval Arms & Armor, presented by Kent Sullivan-Wiley with armor from the Higgins Armory of Worcester, Massachusetts
All presentations are free and are held in The Larkin Room of the Middlebury Public Library, 30 Crest Rd., Middlebury CT.
Refreshments are available at 6:30 p.m. and the presentations begin at 7:00 p.m.

Enter the First Scarecrow Contest
@ Middlebury Public Library!
starts October 1st.
All ages, individuals, families, groups, clubs or businesses are welcome to display!
Create an original, homemade scarecrow display for the grounds of the Middlebury Public Library.
Entry forms and rules are available at the Library; set up early: the best display areas will be chosen quickly! Entry fee is $10.00 (money will be part of a donation to the Middlebury Food Bank).
Family and friends are welcome to vote for your display once a day if they choose during the months of October and November. Ballots will be found at the circulation desk! Scarecrows must be weather-resistant and home-made!!
