Kill-A-Watt meters are now available @ the library

Identify those power hungry appliances in your home and save money with the help of Middlebury Public Library. Two Kill-A-Watt™ meters are now available on a loan basis at the library to help calculate the cost of running your appliances.

Simply connect appliances to the meter and it will assess how efficient your appliances really are. Electrical expenses can be calculated by the hour, day, week, month, or even an entire year enabling customers to adjust their appliance use and cut energy costs.

The Kill-A-Watt™ meters are available for FREE from the library for a two week loan period and can not be returned in the book drop. Please walk the device up to the front desk during business hours. A library card is needed to borrow the device.

The 3rd annual Perfect Puzzle People Party

A good time was had by all on Saturday, February 28th at Puzzlemania! Everyone loved the puzzle, coffee, donuts and music playing in the background. They thought that the puzzle itself was more challenging this year, and it must have been because the first finisher was at about 2:20 PM! The winner was our first year winner: Pick up the Pieces - a team of only two contestants. Runner-up was last year's winner, Gettin' Jiggy Wit It, finished just 10 minutes later. Five teams competed for the coveted opportunity to have their team name engraved on the trophy. Let's think about a possible regional contest next year!
